1530 – 1730hrs: Module C9 – Analysis of Consumer Data: Using “Check All That Apply” (CATA) scales to understand consumer product choices

Topics covered:

  • Which CATA questions discriminate between samples?
  • Visualising product differences in the CATA space using Correspondence Analysis.
  • Ideal profiles.

Pre-requisite: familiarity with correlation, variance and covariance  as covered in module C2, and topics covered in statistical refresher module C01 

Software used: XLSTAT (see below)

You will need the latest version of XLSTAT installed on your computer. If you don’t have a licence you can download a 14-day trial version from the XLSTAT website.

  • Each module is 2 hours.
  • Start time is 1300 GMT+1 for module C7, and 1530 GMT+1 for module C9
