1530 – 1730hrs: Module C8 – Analysis of Consumer Data: Using categorical variables to drive insights using correspondence analysis (CA) mapping

  • How the technique works
  • Interpretation of maps – applications to brand attribute associations and cluster visualisation.
  • Extension to Multiple Correspondence Analysis and applications

Pre-requisite: familiarity with correlation, variance and covariance  as covered in module C2, and topics covered in statistical refresher module C01 

Software used: XLSTAT (see below)

You will need the latest version of XLSTAT installed on your computer. If you don’t have a licence you can download a 14-day trial version from the XLSTAT website.

  • Each module is 2 hours.
  • Start time is 1300 GMT+1 for module C6, and 1530 GMT+1 for module C8
